History
Originally established in the early 1990’s by David Shaw, Ebbtide Marine Engineering Ltd had traded on the same site at Shamrock Quay in Southampton from it’s conception. As a skills-based Engineering Company offering a wide range of related services to both private & commercial clientele, Ebbtide Marine Engineering operates from it’s marina based workshop, out on site as required or overseas with recent projects in France, Portugal, Majorca & Italy.

As an experienced Marine Surveyor, David’s work took him all over Europe and from this and other reputable Surveyors, Ebbtide Marine Engineering has had an ever broadening customer base. In 2006 Jonathan Craig, having been an apprentice & working alongside David for over 10 years, took the helm & with a reputation for excellence & customer service second to none, Jonathan and his team continued to expand the business in David’s footsteps. David in April 2008 decided to concentrate his efforts totally on surveying and decided to cease with Ebbtide Marine Engineering Ltd.

Who we are today
Now entering a new stage in Ebbtide Marine’s life, in April 2008 Jonathan Craig and his father Peter acquired the Ebbtide workshop and goodwill.  With the same team of highly trained, enthusiastic engineers and armed with a new format, operate under the banner of a new company Ebbtide Marine Ltd.

Jonathan & the team will continue to provide the highest level of service to all their private & commercial clients.
