Boat Survey is a member of the Institute of Diagnostic Engineers and carry’s out pre-purchase inspections & failure analysis. They have the facility to look inside engines without the need to carry out costly strip downs using the latest Fibre Optic Internal Imaging equipment. This piece of equipment is often used to identify early signs of failure or internal failures after an incident.
After identification, any repair or rebuild work necessary can be scheduled liasing with Jonathan Craig of Ebbtide Marine Ltd.

General Winterisation
Some of the major engineering refit or general repair work we undertake can be due to poor winterisation. This obviously affects performance & therefore enjoyment of the season. Due to the volume of last minute calls we usually receive, many customers can be disappointed by being unable to have the work done until it’s too late. Therefore bookings can now be taken throughout the year for this vital end of the season service.
